How about versus the Digidesign 882/20?  Where does that fall in the mix
between the RME, MOTU, etc.?  Mine seems just fine. But I am curious. Anyone
have any experience comparing them?

The 882|20's converters are terrible.  I did a blind listening test 
by jangling keys in front of a condenser mic.  The high frequency 
content is very revealing.  I compared an Apogee Rosetta, Mytek and 
the 882|20.  The 882|20 was grainy and dull.  I lost the notes which 
were the key to which was which (a blind test), but could easily 
pick out the 882|20.

I have the RME box, and it is very good, though I haven't done the 
key test on it.  I should.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
