On a Mac, AFAIK, you can't get ASIO to split the use of an audio interface between multiple programs, simultaneously. Core audio will give us that and more, you are right. I always praise Steinberg for being there with VST and ASIO, when no one else was willing to go there, and wanted proprietary stuff instead. I am glad that I won't have to use ASIO forever though. Just because I think Core Audio will eventually be more stable and do more for us. Garth
