NAPSTER FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY - More than likely, pioneer music swapper Napster is dead. The company is expected to file for bankruptcy, as Napster CEO Konrad Hilbers resigned yesterday. The board of directors also rejected a buyout from German media giant Bertlesmann. Napster has been crippled by a series of legal defeats and has remained offline since July of 2001.
