NAPSTER FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY

More than likely, pioneer music swapper Napster is
dead. The company is expected to file for bankruptcy,
as Napster CEO Konrad Hilbers resigned yesterday.
The board of directors also rejected a buyout from
German media giant Bertlesmann. Napster has been
crippled by a series of legal defeats and has
remained offline since July of 2001.
