Absolutely!  I probably would've become an ax murderer had it not been for
"these groups," when I first decided to move from tape to DAW recording a
few years ago; me having extensive pro studio and MIDI experience, but
almost zero home recording studio gear and nothing but questions about what
to do/get next.  That, of course, was accompanied by a lot of "learning
curve" frustration that the LUGgers in particular got me through
successfully.  :)

I just looked at the O1v list, and it appears you got there alright and
already have several responses to your problem.  Good deal.  :)
