Where are the others?

Where are the others?

The official Emagic site claims there are about 200000
registrated users. The LUG has 8400 members, tops.
Where are those other 190000 users?
Are those people never experiencing any Logic related problems?
I just wonder...how come LUG is very small compared to the
number of users.

Interesting isn't it. Maybe those are the productive Logic users
that don't have time to read the lug for 1/2 hour everyday

Maybe they mean they have 200,000 registrations . I've only been around
three years but that would mean 4 entries for me alone , that brings it down
to 50,000 people. Some of them may have had a look at the group and said no
thanks I'll RTFM, some of them may be female and that is definitely not
encouraged ,the rest may have lives ...

In my town there are at least 20 Logic users. I'm the only one that's active on the LUG. I know of two others that are subscribed, but they only lurk. Interestingly - most of these 20 call ME when they have a problem.

probably most of them don't have computers.....or were on it, but got buried
by all the mail each day...and just turned to making music instead of arguing
with f-erenc.

I can't imagine why you would buy and register 4 copies of Logic Audio for
yourself...:-) (and no, they wouldn't count an upgrading customer as a new
customer each time they upgrade, you may be thinking of AOL who counts
people who quit)

Of the hundred or so Logic users I know, I am the only one on the list.
Subscribing to the mailing list is the exception though, not the norm. Many
people don't have the time to be bothered due to working scedules. I just
bring my laptop in the studio with me. Probably best that that many people
don't subscibe though, the list would be hell to manage hehe.
