Uhm...guys...I can't believe how...ahem...Lame you are being right
now.
  Sorry to say it.

First, it says, on the back insert of Peter Gabriel's new UP CD...in
very small letters, right by the bar Code. The last sentence reads:

This is an Enhanced CD. Please put it in your computer.

I can't believe you guys would even second guess or even think that
Peter Gabriel would do that to YOU!!!

Geez...I am listening to it right now on my Mac, right through iTunes.

Have YOU noticed the distributor has changed here in America.
It is NOW Realworld with Virgin as the US distributor.

NOTICE...NO GEFFEN!!! What does that say? Hmmm...

It says...

Peter Gabriel = NO fear! You'll buy it because you love him and it
is
worth every penny you spent on it.

UP Is Dope! Whew...

My ghost likes to travel.

It is working over here...it is fine. Big "FRIGHT" for nothing.
Just read the inserts or labels, that should tell you everything
you want to know. Hint: Fine print by the bar code.

> (weirdy beardy - yea or nay? i kinda like it)

Diggin it...hey, he gettin up years.

But, I wouldn't call it weird, especially if one thinks Mick Mars of
Motely Crue with his Fu Man Chu. Nah, I think Peter's gearing up for
the groupies...it pays to have a good tickler on your chin at that
age.
;-)

The beard is kind of the signature to OVO. Remember to curly Q of
the characters hair in the story of OVO. As soon as I saw the beard,
I was like "hey, that's OVO on his chin." My girlfriend, likes the
fact that he lost the weight (for his health) and loves the natural
gray. Shows he's not being vain about his age. No hair plugs and
showing the gray, she like that ...distinguished, makes him handsome.

Well they say life carries on...and on, and on...and on.

Not sure about the PG disc. but here in Australia, we almost always end up
with cd's that go through the prod run in Australia. For example, the Celine
Dion disc that people were refereing to earlier in the year, did not have
the protection scheme here in Oz. Maybe the plant isn't capable of the
protection methods as yet?
Cheers

Hard to say which people are the greater S holes - greedy record Co.s
pissing off honest buyers, or millions of people stealing music by the
gigabyte.
Let's see, what came first - copy protection or MP3...? ;-(
--------------
The inability for the record companies to think of new revenue streams and
secure, digital distribution systems before these hackers came to be. This
would have alleviated the proliferation of audio piracy as there would have
been a simple mechanism by way of ease of charging for copyrighted material.

Sure it woulda happened inevtably anyway, but really, you gotta ask why 8
years after the Intenet became a populous communications tool, do the record
companies still not have a proper digital rights distribution system?

Agreed. The industry needs to embrace the technology and
retro-fit the copyright/distribution process to work within the new
reality. They're spending all their time (and beacoup bucks)
fighting the march of progress instead of fixing the part that's
broken. We all need to have this incredible convenience without
ripping off our fellow artists.

The ability to have tunes at my disposal at a moment's notice
is too sweet to pass up! I'd gladly pay a fee to make it legit and
fair to all who are down line of my usage of the product but such a
service isn't being offered. Especially not for Mac users.

Why all the fuss, there's nothing new to Gabriel
using compuer's for music he's been doing it when the
Amiga computer was king on the block.

At least two people on the DAW-Mac list reported problems with this CD.
