LAW:no sync with Opcode Studio 64 anymore

2001-02-04 by david@floydsproduce.com

As I was dumping some stuff to tape yesterday, and found that LAW
was not seeing the MTC from the ADAT sync in the Opcode Studio 64 XTC
midi-sync interface. nor would it see MTC from a midi input on
the Opcode, or with an analog smpte in the 1/4" jack. Midi is working
fine, it's just sync that I'm having trouble with.

But the Opcode ultility window with it's "smpte readout" was
showing the incoming code from the ADAT. I couldn't get sync to Logic,
Cool Edit Pro or Wavelab. Any ideas why? Could the Opcode be screwed,
but still showing the right "smpte code" in it's utility window?

Any experiences with this? I just took out my Gadgetlabs Wavepro
824, and removed it's drivers, and installed a Hammerfall digi9652
Audio card. Any strange driver problems here that anyone knows about?
Anyone, anyone....

thanks,
df

Problem fixed thanks to Jeff Bohnhoff...he is da man! In Win.ini file
under Logic, somehow I had a (=0) after sync port, which stopped that
port from getting to Logic.

Thanks Jeff!!!
