Hi Roman,

Try the Behringer Powerplay. I hate Behringer gear, but this little box 
is pretty good. It does more than you need, but it's cheap, loud and it 
sounds good. Should be about 220 dollars NZ.

The box said "Use Windows 95 or better" so I got a Macintosh...

I'm after something small that can clamp onto the mic stand. The powerplay
is 1 IU I think.
