hi roger,

if you are using DVD-RAM discs (as opposed to DVD-Rs), some drives work 
with 5.2 (or 2.6) GB discs, and some with 9.4 (or 4.7) GB discs- but as 
far as i know they don't do both, just one or the other.  check your 
drive specs... DVD-RAMs can't burn DVD-R discs.
