The Logic Off Topic list

I would like to use some other MIDI Instruments besides the ones that came with 
Logic Platinum.  I was wondering if there are websites where you can download free 
midi instruments?  What are the best quality MIDI instruments to use and where can 
the be found or bought?  I'm a little confused on this subject, so any clarification 
would be great.

What you are looking for are VSTi's -- VST virtual instruments which are
controlled by MIDI.
