can anyone help me out in how to set up ³define custom bank message² to
access my XV-5080¹s expansion boards?  drum patches in performance mode?
also, does anyone have patch lists (names) for expansion boards?
(i know that someone has posted a logic environment for the 5080 but it¹s
not really happening for me...  i just need a more bare-bones patch list‹and
how to access‹ the expansion boards...)

I have an environment that also includes some expansion boards.

You need to select the environment multi, then choose "Define Custom 
bank messages" from the environment options menu.


The XV 5080 manual has a table of bank select MSB and LSB numbers on 
page 21, unfortunetaly it doesn't list the expansion board numbers, this 
may be on the expansion boards' own "manual" I can't remember, maybe I 
did it be trial and error one sad Sunday afternoon.
