As a teacher I can tell you that if people would quit questioning authority so damn much, and start listening to people who know more, and have been through the same things and learned to succeed, they would be a lot more successful. One time in a thousand that rebellious attitude is proven right, but every young turk always feels they know more than the geezers.

Having some experience as a teacher as well (playing abrasive music 
is not always the highest paying gig in town:-0) I would say I have 
to agree.  But I have also found I had better have my facts straight, 
and/or when it turns out I don't, be willing to say "I appear to have 
made a mistake" or "I don't know" as the case applies.  Otherwise the 
school turns into a rebel factory.
