[L-OT] Good 'basic' delay plugin??

[L-OT] Good 'basic' delay plugin??

2001-07-04 by jbaar@iba.nl

Hello group:

Just a little question:

What is a good delay plugin to use in Logic?? (PC)

I am not looking for special delay's like the Logic delay's (modulation /
tape / stereo), but something more basic. At this moment my MC505 has
better delays. And that's not that good, as you all can imagine.... :-)

I think I use 3/4 note delays (I have to check at home--> anyway, delay-ed
notes between the beats)

I have tried Reason for a while, and the delay efx-box you can use there
gives some very good results. Is there a plugin for Logic that has the same
sort of result??

Thanks in advance

Jeroen

What in the world is OT about this?!?

Anyway the logic tape delay can give you what you want. I think.
Just set the high cut to 20000 and the low cut to 20 and it will be
nothing more than a perfectly un-colored delay.

If that is not what you are looking for then maybe I need to hear
what have in mind when you say "better".

We're afraid to ask anything now .... due to Joeri's strict crack down on
dickheads. We don't want to be hauled in front of the Hague tribunal for
mentioning a topic not sanctioned by Emagic.

Just kidding, Joeri is doing a great job! The list is suddenly more
manageable. Now if we can only get people to update the message titles
with descriptive titles.....

:-)

ROFL. Good one. Well, it's a bit too crowded in the Hague now that Milosevic
is there. ;-)

"more" manageable, but still a long way too go!

Yes indeed! I'm working on that too, but the effect is very small. I'm even
re-arranging quotes etc these days....
