Hi Mark, I switch back and forth between LPC and SAM7 using IAR and J-link with no problems. The FreeRTOS download includes sample IAR projects for both. Take a look at the SAM7X uIP demo for a project using IAR tools on a standard dev board. The one issue I'm aware of to watch out for is the .mac files supplied with some early IAR/SAM7 kits did not always initialise the peripherals correctly - so code would work fine on first download/debug session, but not on subsequent downloads until the hardware had been power cycled again (only when using the debugger).
