CrossWorks can generate hex, bin, srec etc files which can be downloaded using the Philips tool. We don't support downloading from CrossStudio via the serial port using the standard Philips booloader. We have our own serial/USB/whatever bootloader that works with both CrossStudio and CrossLoad. It doesn't fit into the LPC2xxx world - we couldn't bring ourselves to do uuencoding :-> Regards Michael >At 04:07 PM 11/29/05 +0000, Michael Johnson wrote: > > >>>I'm new in this stuff and I try to figure out wich connection I should >>>use to program my LPC 2292. >>>I using CrossWorks and I want to connect my board via serial port. >>> >>> >>> >>CrossWorks supports the JTAG port only. >> >> > >Oh, come now, surely they haven't found a way of preventing you from using >the serial port to download a program? ;) > >Robert > >" 'Freedom' has no meaning of itself.
