I think both of these are good, and others like the Embedded Artists board, the Tini2138, the Keil MCB2130, and some boards from Olimex. But one thing that is very important should also be considered: the JTAG device. Some use the Jlink, the Ulink, the Wiggler, etc. Once you buy a development board you should probably buy the JTAG device that comes from the same vendor, unless you already have a device. The compiler tools should also be considered. Obviously, IAR has their own tools (the 32K limited version is free), and Keil has theirs (the 16K limited version is free), and Olimex recommends the CrossWorks tools from Rowley. I think any of these tools can work with any JTAG device, and on any of these boards, but you often find "bundles" that come with boards, so you should look into this to know what comes with each board. > Also can I integrate any RTOS with this > Target Board or not? You frequently don't use an RTOS on an ARM7 device, but that is possible, and many people do it. I haven't tried this, but I understand FreeRTOS is an option. There's even a flavor of linux that can run on an Arm7 (uLinux). If you need a full-featured RTOS, you might be better off with an Arm9 device. Eric
