Sorry folks,
I didn't mean to start a flame war about open / closed interfaces. My comment was
meant to imply that (afaik) the Keil uLink is only listed as compatible with Keil software,
whereas JLink is supported by Rowley and IAR (unless Segger JLink is not the same as IAR
JLink). As long as Keil software does all I want, this is not a problem for me.
Thanks to Tim Chua (embeddedhub) for pointing out that a wiggler will be enough for me
to evaluate the other packages. I have ordered the Olimex one from mivation at the
"throwaway" price of GBP 15. If I decide to move to a different package, I will buy an
appropriate USB JTAG interface - it won't make much difference in speed but I will not be
constrained by the short cable limit on wigglers.
Regards,
Danish
