hi all I am from India and persuing MS Robotics. the philips sample system in india is pathetic. when i requested for two LPC2148 they have informed to contact their distributers. They all replied me that they have a policy of not giving samples to students.i have asked them to send the samples to my department on my name to ensure them that i am student. i am very disappointed with philips sampling system in india. philips has big R&D centre in bangalore, India and they want to ripe the fruits of low cost of R&D in India but they dont want to give samples to students. Spending 18$ on each chip for a student is too much for student in india. The sampling system of Freescale is the best i have ever seen i always get the samle from US in 4 days by FedEx. great product dont win the hearts of people but public realtion of companies also matters. bye sudhir --- In lpc2000@yahoogroups.com, Sean <embeddedrelated@...> wrote: > > > If anything you'd think that they'd send samples more to consultants and > small companies than to the large companies.
