Please Guys .... if you cant add some technical detail butt out.
This reply to this tortured thread breaks my own request - but NOTHING
statements like
"If you dont like the security use something else - becasue only amateurs
who create no value in their IP use LPC2000 chips"
such as this one from Mr Stuart Wallace is silly in the extreme.
Im sure Philips wont like to read it Stuart.

I for one am trying to load tricky algorithmic stuff to treat spinal trauma
patients - and I dont like the idea that someone can read my implementation
and copy it - nor the implication someone can change it if they can
reprogram the chip. People doing POS work and WIFI stuff must feel the same.

I hope you Understand jaya is a respected academic and I hope his arguments
stimulate Philips to supply a detailed assessment of the present status of
their security.
All the dribble about it not being important is most unprofessional and not
of the quality we want on this forum.

I sincerely hope Philips defeat Jayas detailed argument - and perhaps Jaya
hopes he is wrong also - because we like this chip series and respect
Philips efforts.

But to KNOW is to be secure that one makes the correct decisions.

Thats why Jayas efforts are important for us all.
