I guess this is because the LPC2138 board has a 14.something MHz
crystal that is an exact multiple of 115200 so it can generate
the standard bitrates with 0% error.

The LPC2148 probably has a 12.000 MHz crystal (required to generate
the 48 MHz clock for USB), which is not an exact multiple of 115200
so the standard bitrates always have some error. The error is too
big for bitrates above 38k4.
