Re: [lpc2000] Problems on first board

2006-03-10 by Thiago Takehara

Unfortunatelly, I don't have a JTAG and don't have any connector for this type of debugger on my board.

I´m burning a blinky program on LPC2144 and can´t make it work, even if I
can burn it on internal flash. I´ve succesfully tried this code on MCB2140,
so I thought it would work on my board.

I have made a simple board with LPC2144, 10MHz xtal, MAX232, reset source
and a good voltage source. I´ve verified all the VDD's, VSS's and verified
my EINT1's, TRACESYNC's and others pull -up and -downs. My reset source
maintains low level on reset pin for at least 280ms.

I don't know how to compare my burned code and the original one on my PC,
because this function on LPC2000 Flash Utility V2.2.3 doesn't work, so I've
uploaded and downloaded again the same code on my board and on MCB2140 and
compared both with WinHex, and both was identical. I gave a look on the
Interrupt Vector's checksum and confirmed it is ok.

It's the first time I burn a code on this new board, and I don't know if I
have to do anything different at first burn, something like writing a word
for a specific register / memory position, and haven't find any information
regarding this issue on Philips' UM10139.

Why can´t my code run if I can burn it on flash? If someone knows anything
that can help me, my thanks in advance.

Have you tried JTAG, if your board has the connector on it?

  Leon
