RE: [lpc2000] Re: RTC problem in 2136

2006-03-25 by Pandurang Shinde

hi,
        thanks for suuggestion,i check my initlization & i nowhere found that i am writing one reserved bit.
        My RTC initlization routine is as below.

        CCR=0x13; /* Reset the clock ,clock from external osc,RTC enable*/
       ILR=0x03; /* Clear the RTC Interrupt  */
       CCR=0x11; /* RTC reset changeed to 0 */
       CIIR = 0x01;  //interrupt on Second counter

Regards,
Pandurang S.

Hello,
You can try the following:
@ RTC init, clear all RTC registers --> (write 0 to all)
than make sure, you do not write the 'reserved' bits, this can cause
something like that to happen.. I had sort of the same problem.. and
the earlier mentioned steps solved my problem!!
Good luck!
