You are having a time of aren't you? :(

Others have run into this (You might see if there is something in the list 
archives) and there was a workaround mentioned but I can't help you much 
more than that on it.

The root cause is even though __udivsi3.o does not use floating point the 
object file is tagged as using HW floating point and since rs232_stdio is 
tagged as using SW floating point ....

Time for someone else to chime in to explain further and correct any miss 
explanations I've foisted upon you.
