The User Manual in Section 20.8.2 is very specific. If both DBGSEL and RTCK are HIGH at reset, JTAG is enabled at some point following reset. If either signal is low coming out of reset, JTAG is disabled and can not be enabled later. What it doesn't say is WHEN JTAG is enabled relative to reset. It could be done in hardware and happen immediately. Or, it could be done by the bootloader firmware. But the User Manual is quite specific about whether it is enabled or not. Richard
