         thanks for your reply.
         I am using sector 13 of flash memory(in LPC2136), put the MEMAP = 0x02 (i.e. User RAM Mode. Interrupt vectors are re-   mapped to Static RAM.) still finding the same problem.

I don't know if this help but I have hit this error
before if I am writing to sector 0 and FLASH isn't
currently mapped into the lowest 64 bytes of memory
through the MEMMAP register.
