I think anyone making a claim like this should provide some evidence 
to back it up.

We've done extensive, comparative benchmarks of the LPC2xxx against 
OKI and other 32-bit MCUs. 

Given that benchmarks can be used to prove anything, I'd suggest 
anyone seriously concerned about performance do their own benchmarks 
of what they're actually doing.

Similarly, anyone making a claim such as the one above should 
provide benchmarks to back it up: otherwise there's no credibility 
to the claim.
