if you insist to use NAND see

Much easier would be to use SPI interface and for example
serial flash like M25P40 from ST (4Mbit/25MHz/8SO)
There is nothing wrong in using SD card for internal storage either.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
