Hi Guys, I'm trying to get a connection to my LPC2104 with also the JEENI from EPI, but without succes. Is it really not possible to use the JEENI for this uC? I have the new firmware (v2.2). Rev 2.2 firmware performs a self-test to verify that the JTAG connection to the target is working properly. The JEENI puts the JTAG TAP into BYPASS mode, writes out 32-bit pattern of ones and zeros (0x59A6956A) and tries to read it back. (JTAG TAP CONTROLLER) On my scope I see that more then 5 cycles of tck with tms '1', so the LPC is in test logic reset. Then its going to select IR-SCAN and goes to capture-IR and four times shift-IR with TMS '1'. Is this a good instuction for the LPC2104 to select te BYPASS register???? is the opcode only 4 bits????? I cant find information about that on the philips website. Then I see it goes to select DR scan and writes the pattern of ones and zeros. Later it wants to read it back, but the TDO stays '0' and the error JTAG ERROR TDO=0000.0000 appears (from the firmware). (TDO is connected fine, so thats not it) Does some of you know more about the tap controller and instructie register of the LPC210x or where I can find that and more about the compactability with the JEENI?
