When I bought them a couple of months ago they were shown as in stock at Arrow and I ordered them online, but I see they're not in stock now. In fact there are no LPCs of any type in stock. Maybe they're suffering from too much popularity. Availability is also a concern for me. If I use the LPC series in my designs I need to be able to get reasonable quantities at reasonably short notice. Arrow was the only place in North America that I found that would sell in quantities less than 200. Availability, plus the lack of code protection, has me reconsidering the use of the LCP2106, I but need more processing power than PICs or 8051s provide. I switched to the LPC from Cygnal. Can anyone suggest any alternatives of equivalent power and capabilities to the LCP2106 that they have considered that have better availability, and code protection? - Chris
