Mark, Bit of a tangent, but I got uIP working on the Olimex LPC-E2124 board so it would be possible to get it working on the 2106 too--it's just bit bashing. The E2124 has a 10M CS8900A on it (popular, low-power, easy to drive). As for SPI & Ethernet, I don't have any direct experience. -- Paul Curtis, Rowley Associates Ltd http://www.rowley.co.uk CrossWorks for MSP430, ARM, and (soon) Atmel AVR processors > -----Original Message----- > From: Mark Butcher [mailto:mjbcswitzerland@...] > Sent: 27 October 2004 22:19 > To: lpc2000@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [lpc2000] Ethernet controller for LPC2106 > > > > Hi All > > I would like to make a LAN connection to an LPC2106 design. > It seems best to use the SPI interface but I don't know much > about SPI Ethernet controller support. > > After checking around I found the Microchip MCP22S80, a 10M > device with SPI connection.
