Yes, that I had done(it looks like the equivalent to the DBGSEL to me), but it 
did point me in the direction of what *was* wrong! The reset line was 
flapping about, looks like for some reason my reset chip was broken. Seems to 
connect, upload code and step through now. :-) 

All I have to do is find out why it's dissappearing up its own @rse now! ;-)
