My (very) limited knowledge of USB suggests this is not a "host". AFAIK, the host is what initiates comms and embedded devices tend to be slaves (or whatever the term might be). The only embedded device I know of which I *think* has a host controller is one of the Freescale Coldfire MCF4 summat or another!
