Sony used to make most of their spec available (several years ago while
they were trying to encourage people to adopt the format). Now they've
either established it enough, or given up on trying to get others
interested. So everything is closed and you need to pay a large annual
membership fee to get the materials.

I archived the public materials and have TEMPORARILY made them available
for download from
http://www.larwe.com/technical/datasheets/memorystick.zip - get it
quick, because I am not going to leave it up there. This does NOT
include information about Pro, Duo, MagicGate, but it is enough info to
write a basic storage card implementation.
