I think the issue came from his statement about being a software person "learning" hardware. I assumed that he was a novice and actually needed help on the basics of decoupling. This is a difficult to master area and a lot of designers only do a "good enough" job which really isn't. I was trying to make that point and apparently Owen felt he was being talked down to which is not what I intended. I have posted enough about this. I'm done.
