Thanks Jan, but I've had a look at some of these and I don't think this one supports SPI (for logging storage)

Also I've painted myself into a development corner in the past (you know - can i get a bit more ram or a bit more rom or a bit more speed) and i'm not doing it again. I would rather pay for a C Lithium which will give 10 years operation.
