Your not referring to atmels claim to have the most popular arm7 devices ? My view is the lpc21xxx's are very popular especially with hobbiests and others especially due to the reasonably easy availability and free tools. Where as other manufacturers discourage hobbiests and non-large companies from using their products. >I believe I have a solution. Probably would be a good idea to have say an arm7 or even arm site (armfreaks) but you would have to keep it manufacturer neutral. Would be a fair buit of work, keeping a site like that up to date. >Instead, what I think would be very beneficial for the ARM7 community as a >whole, would be to create a CMS (content management system) with email >discussion groups, wikis and file hosting. It could work if done properly. Still prefer to keep this group as is rather than use a forum format like avrfreaks etc Also allows people who can't access web pages due to employer filters etc to post and read without problems. With regard to wikis, it is a good idea to mirror them. Especially if the server goes down and there aren't any backups (like what happened to the gfortran(gnu fortran 90/95 compiler) wiki last week) The gnu arm site is now quite well mirrored.
