New LPC2220 (64 KB SRAM) released

2005-05-19 by philips_marketing_usa

LPC2220 is a low-cost 16/32-bit ARM7TDMI-STM Flashless processor with
up to 64K on-chip RAM, 75 MHz operation.

The highly integrated single chip LPC2220 microcontroller is a new
addition to the highly popular LPC2000 ARM7TDMI-based
microcontrollers. The LPC2220 fills the needs for designers looking
for low price, high-performance 32-bit microcontrollers with large
amounts of on-chip SRAM and multiple megabytes of off-chip code
memory.

The LPC2220 features 64 KB on-chip RAM, 10-bit ADC and an external
memory interface which are all ideal for applications such as
industrial control, medical systems, access control, POS, high-end
cordless phone systems and general purpose gateways.

Key Features:
· 8 channel 10-bit ADC
· External memory interface
· Two 32-bit timers,PWM unit,real-time clock & watchdog timer
· Temperature range –40°C to +85°C
· LQFP144 package

Tools and Support
To further assist developers to easily integrate advanced technology
into everyday applications, the LPC2220 is supported by low-cost
development tools including JTAG emulators and evaluation boards.
Customers can use the existing Phytec phycore-ARM-LPC229x or the
Ashling ASK-2000-NP evaluation board together with the 144-pin
adapter sockets to evaluate the LPC2220.

Availability
The LPC2220 is available now.
