Hi Varuzhan,
I have tested LPC2138 both in single layer and double layer PCB. In double layer I had run it at 55.296MHz cclk. It was absolutely reliable. 4 layer and above PCBs are recommended for highly sophisticated designs. Its always preferable to use multilayer PCBs, but compromise between high performance and low cost is always there.

Does anybody succeeded with design of two layer PCB
with LPC2138 or similar chip?
There was an opinion on this forum, that at least 4
layers are necessary.
But such an approach is highly decreasing the advantage
of the low cost of the LPC2000 series.
