"Shut down sockets." *is* the error message returned from OCDRemote. It seems to just shut down when Insight successfully connects (yes, I get a "connected successfully" window pop up). I've also noticed that the process goes away (using Windows task manager) I'm suspecting this is the pins 8-15 short problem with the Wiggler (well, not a problem with the Wiggler, but with the tools), although I don't see why this would start happening now after using the tools for a while, unless the tools have a time limit. I'm using OCDRemote v2.12a, and I suspect I didn't have this problem with v2.12, since that's the version I started using, and Insight was working back then. I've got a bunch of things to try out this weekend now: clock speed (I hear "-s 8" works best), OCDRemote v2.13, OCDRemote v2.12, connect pins 8 and 15 on the Wiggler. I looked into the Rowley Crossworks toolkit, but it's very expensive (probably around $700US) I'm writing to Keil to get quotes on their tools. I'm going to try the evaluation of their tools though. A 16K limit on code size doesn't make me too happy, although I have yet to come close to that with my code.
