Re: jtag choice

I paid $199.00 from www.lpctools.com. The ULINK appears to support
several different types of JTAG connections for different processors
by simply changing the ribbon cable. The company shipped me one with
the wrong ribbon cable but corrected the problem and credited me a
portion for the trouble. I hated the lost day waiting to get the
cable but I felt they really treated me fairly. I would do business
with them again for sure.

Note, if you by a Keil MCB2130 eval board and the ULINK at the same
time, you essentially get $50.00 off of the package.

I also ordered an Embest LPCEB2000-IW2 board with a 2132
daughterboard. This board is $168.00 and comes with a parallel port
JTAG interface. This looks like a nice board but has no prototyping
area at all. I have not had time (and may not for a while) to even
power it up.

For now, the Keil MCB2130 and ULINK are working well for me.
