I am currently using an LPC2294 in conjunction with a Phytec development board. I am able to use the processor to operate as an I2C Master transmitter, however I have problems when I attempt to operate as Master receiver. The slave device that I am writing to requires a one byte command, in order to describe the data that I want to read. So, when I send this command, everything seems to work. However, when I issue a stop command and then restart the bus and address the slave device to read the data I miss the first 1 to 2 bytes of data. I know that the slave device is working correctly because I can effectively communicate to it with an iPort (I2C Master emulator). I only have problems when I try to read with the LPC, any thoughts?
