I would recommend you to contact your distributor. Here in Denmark (Europe) if you order samples from the Philips website they never arrive although we have a company and use Philips parts... I always have to contact my distributors their samples from the website, apparently doesn't work if you reside in Denmark. I know of several other Companys here in DK that have the same problem. Atmel is even worse at giving you samples they arrive approx 3-5 months after you order them with a nice bill from Arrow that will make you sweat They have the nerve to charge horrible freight and handling fees on free samples. I ordered two 8mbit data flash devices from atmels website as samples in Marts and got them last month with a bill reading 60$ Maxim / Analog / Linaer / National / OnSemi although are great company's if you need to sample a part. Maybe Philips should look into this as its pretty lame...
