So, how fast does your Signum device load into an LPC2000's flash? Bet it's not much faster than 14K/second and will never approach a "1M" rate. What's an "1M" rate? Is that a TCK frequency or the programming speed in bits per second or bytes per second? The CrossConnect loads at over 180Kbytes/second onto an Evaluator-7T into RAM, so that equates to a download speed of 1.4Mbit/second. On Xscale it's over 200K/second equating to 1.6Mbit/second. Not too shabby for a £99 device. However, the Wiggler or one of its many clones isn't at all bad for low-end development on small devices--about 1/5th the speed for 1/5th the price (if you purchase a clone). -- Paul.
