With regard to improving JTAG clocking speed, I should rephrase as I acknowledge ARM newsgroups have higher ratios of educated and informed participants. Simple techniques such as avoiding lengthy PCB tracks, using appropriate cabling and using termination resistors may be all that is needed to get dramatic improvements in JTAG clocking speed. I am sorry if this unleashes the 'holier-than-thous' among us waiting for an excuse to assert their 'heroic insights'.
