ISP circuit

Dear all,

now I need to program my lpc2214 using serial port, I used to program
philips 8051RD2 using Tx, RX pins via Rs232 interface, so schematic for
programming LPC2214 would be the same ??Is there any change has to be
made or only these two pins will work? should I use RS3232 for
interface or any other option?

There are several schematics around for various LPC2000 family members
including some here
http://www.aeolusdevelopment.com/Articles/InSystemProgramming.html You
should be able to adapt and compare from these to the 2214.

A full connection will hookup the Rx, Tx, P0.14 and P0.14 pins to give you
complete control over the download but you can use just Rx and Tx as long
as you can set P0.14 low to enter ISP mode and reset the micro. In some
special cases you don't need P0.14 but for the general case you do.
