Logic Analyzers used with LPC21xx

Logic Analyzers used with LPC21xx

2003-12-02 by crp1124

All,

We are investigating logic analyzers to be used with our lpc
development. Specifically we are interested in tracing the
interaction between the lpc running at up to 60Mhz and various
peripherals we will be integrating with it. Any
experiences/recommendations from group members would be greatly
appreciated.

For embedded work I'm a fan of the Agilent 54622D Mixed Signal
Oscilloscope. 16 channels of logic analyzer input plus 2 analog channels
sharing a common trigger point. It also has specific trigger setups for
SPI, I2C and CAN (among others) as well as the usual logic analyzer and
standard oscilloscope triggers, Oh, and they have a built in 3.5" drive
for storing results (great for documenting verification tests).
