OT (just a bit) Modems and ARM

OT (just a bit) Modems and ARM

2006-02-18 by Micron Engineering

Just a little off topic: I have to realize modem connection between an
LPC arm based board and PCs with PSTN (analog telephone line) and GSM
modems so I need all documentation about the argument. I have some AT
commands papers but I am not able to understand what commands are common
to every modem and what are specific to a particular one.
Best regards,
Massimo Manca, Micron Engineering

The Siemens TC35A is a popular GSM modem. The AT command set for that is
probably typical of most similar units. It may be used to transfer data to
PCs via the PSTN.
