Hi Friends,
   
  I am trying to make a simple scheduler around Timer1 of LPC2214. The timer will be configured to generate an interrupt every 500us. The timer will also be used for other functions as keyboard scan, and maintaining the time to read the data on SPI.
   
  I would like to know if there is any book related to the working and building of a simple scheduler. Is there any precaution that i have to take while using a scheduler.

Check out the various open-source RTOS.

Also the uC/OS book.
