AC97, TDM or CODEC Interfacing ?

2006-03-15 by croquettegnu

Hi guys,

I2S seems to be possible with the use of a SPI
What about AC97 or TDM management ? Is the SPI enough , the SSP to
dela with ?

Thanks in advance

The basic idea is to configure the SPI or SSP as a slave device and
supply the clock and control signals. These can be derived from
timers / external logic as required. There are some restrictions if
you require continuous back-to-back transmission. See ch.12&13 in
user manual. The LPC provides the shift register, everything else is
application specific.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
